Sawa Murofushi
Born in 1993.
Having an opera singer mother and composer/conductor/music teacher father, her background was built upon their influences.
She started to learn piano as early as 3 years of age. And at the age of 5, she began to go to Italy with her mother, and learned Italian opera from William Matteuzzi and Renato Palumbo. She performed various national/international concerts such as with Padova Veneto Orchestra directed by Marco Titotto in 2010, and 2011. In 2012.
she graduated from Saitama-prefecture Performing Arts High School (Saitama Kenritsu Geijyutu Sougou Koutou Gakkou) in music major. After that, she travelled and lived in countries such as USA, Spain, Italy and their cultures gave inspiration into her music.
She came back to her homeland, Japan in 2020, then in 2021 she started her career as Jazz singer.
In 2022, she performed at 25th Green Tea Jazz Festival.
